Wonderwebby: Imagine New Ways to Make a Difference
Hi there and welcome to Wonderwebby. I hope you discover inspiration and creative ideas on this blog, so that you can imagine new ways to make difference with social media. Perhaps you are looking for ways to help people collaborate in your community or workplace. Perhaps you want to change the world through your non profit, aid organisation or government agency. Wherever you live, work or volunteer I’m certain that you can find simple, effective and fun ways to use social media.
The three themes I’m writing about in 2010 are LIVE, PLAY and CREATE.
- LIVE: to share ponderings from a working mother on motivation, time management and finding focus, so that you can do good.
- PLAY: to enjoy learning, find inspiration and join in fun online creative challenges (this is my favourite!) so that you can do good.
- CREATE: to discover practical steps to create social media, so that you can do good.
Enjoy! I look forward to reading your comments this year and getting to know more about you too.

I live and work in Melbourne, Australia with my husband and three amazing young children. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, photography, the arts, food, the moving image, writing (here!), technology and discovering creative ways that words and pictures can connect people and change the world.
I’m fascinated by the possibilities. I enjoy exploring creative ways to use social media for positive change , recently using social media to raise awareness and $7000 for an Opportunity International Australia women’s microfinance program in the Philippines. I think Opportunity do incredible work (please support them!)
I work part time (three days a week) as a Digital Lead for Mid Market at IBM A/NZ. I’m also a member of IBM’s Technical Experts Council and a member of the Advisory Committee for the Victorian College of the Arts Centre for Cultural Partnerships. Over the last 17 years I have worked as a Web Producer, eLearning Consultant, Studio Manager and Illustrator. A while ago I went to RMIT uni and enjoyed my Graduate Diploma & Masters in Creative Media and Animation.
