About Jasmin Tragas

I love imagination. I’m fascinated by the possibilities. And I enjoy exploring creative ways to use social media for positive change.

At home in Melbourne Australia, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children, family and friends. My interests include my community, photography, the arts, food, the moving image, reading, writing (here!) and discovering creative ways that words and pictures can connect people can make a difference. I love to learn.

I work part time (three days a week) as a Digital Lead for Mid Market  in our Demand Programs team at IBM A/NZ.  My strong  interest in technology and innovation has led me to become a member of IBM’s Technical Experts Council and a member of the Advisory Committee for the Victorian College of the Arts Centre for Cultural Partnerships. Over the last 17 years I have worked as a Web Producer (B2B and B2C), eLearning Consultant, Studio Manager and Illustrator and have a Graduate Diploma & Masters in Creative Media and Animation from RMIT Uni.

In my spare time I like to use social media for social good, raising money for Opportunity International Australia and collaborative projects  the Age of Conversation Tweetsgiving and volunteering with NetSquared to host a Melbourne NetTuesday quarterly event.
